Michael P. Twedt, P.E., C.E.M. President, BTU Engineering, Inc.

Mr. Twedt has been performing energy audits and analyzing energy systems since 1992. In this time he has conducted over 200 energy assessments on public and private facilities in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Mr Twedt is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) and an Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Certified Energy Manager (C.E.M.). Mr. Twedt possesses both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering from South Dakota State University. He completed his graduate work in the field of energy conservation. In addition to consulting, he teaches part time in the Mechanical Engineering Department at South Dakota State University. He has taught classes such as HVAC Design, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Systems in Buildings, and Thermodynamics.
